Your Host: Lisa Sheppard

Lisa is a singer-songwriter and musician from Montreal. She started writing songs as a teenager—a passion that still lights her up today. She studied classical and jazz guitar at Vanier College. She also studied piano, bass, and arranging independently. Lisa co-founded the OKChorale community choir and co-lead it until end of 2023. She released an acoustic, solo album of originals songs in 2000. Her latest EP To Being is out now.

The Montreal Songwriters' Circle is dedicated to supporting songwriters in honing their craft. The events foster creativity, accountability, and meaningful connections within the songwriting community.

Keep Me Posted On Events & Workshops!

REfund policy

For one-off workshops, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person or request a credit for a future workshop if you notify me at least 48 hours in advance.

Unfortunately, refunds are not available for missed or late cancellations, as spaces are limited and workshops rely on a minimum number of participants to run.

For term sessions, no refunds are issued once the term has started.

Thank you for understanding — this helps keep small, independent music programs sustainable.
